Malawi Cichlids for hobbyists by a hobbyist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owner and fishkeeper Jamie McGrorty has been keeping and breeding cichlids for over 35 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His love of Malawi gained momentum over 25 years ago, when he decided to set up his first aquarium at home. Seeking colourful and active fish that will create a stunning display not just for the family but for visitors too, he fell in love with Malawi Cichlids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What started as 3ft fish tank in the hallway indoors quickly turned into many tanks in the garden shed, which is where the hobby eventually turned into a business. Jamie still see\u2019s himself as a hobbyist first, not least as he never likes to part with a fish, but he enjoys seeing the delight that other fish keepers have when they take his fish home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Quality, healthy fish<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Malawi Cichlids UK great care is taken to ensure fish are in good health and showing the best colours.  This is because all the fish are cared for as if they will never leave!  Owner Jamie McGrorty is a hobbyist first and foremost and loves each fish in his possession, as if each one was in his own display tank in prime spot in the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wide variety<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With over 800 fish in stock, Malawi Cichlids UK can provide fish from juvenile size through to fully grown adults.  Fish are sold in Pairs or Males only, as well as breeding groups, such a 4 females with one male.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
